According to the standard version this person in 1974 jumped from the Soviet liner at night into the ocean and then swam through about the 100 kilometers up to one of the Philippine Islands.
Further - Canada. Later - Israel. According hints in the book, in the USSR at Kurilov had (remained) the wife and the son. In age of 61 years old Vyacheslav Kurilov died during one of immersions in the Red Sea.
Some details of memories by Vyacheslav Kurilov about the life in the USSR are interesting. He rather long time lived on one of islands on Baikal.
Now, apparently, on Baikal strengthen nature protection regulation. Locals feel discontent. The official explanation - visitors too much.

And today Sergei Sergeyevich read about the female resident of Belarus which once (in 2010) acted in the movie "Brest Fortress", then lived in the different countries (was engaged in something), then she has gone to the USA for training in a (film) directing, at last, has married, and with the husband has gone to Alaska.
Why did she go to Alaska?
It turns out there was once a man, "survivalist" (he called himself a "survivalist"?), who lived a certain time in the desert regions of Alaska in an abandoned bus.

Sergei Sergeyevich frowned with bewilderment. "Let's say thoughts and intentions of defenders of the Brest fortress are not so clear, and are not so attractive as Bali and an auto old stuff. But why, - at such situation, - to participate in creation of movies about the heroic past?".
