And in these Western countries a lot of inhabitants love literature. And suddenly Western literature lovers discover a whole community of writers - emigrants (let's say 30 people). The level of a writing (literatory) skills is high. The cultural history and cultural traditions are. Many of them write ten-twenty-thirty years and are widely known. Events are slowly but surely go to the fact that one of these emigrant writers will be awarded the Nobel Prize.
It cannot be ruled out that some of the cultural inhabitants of a large cultural western country will have an opinion - why not try to integrate these writers and poets into Western European culture? There are official structures - the Academy, for example. To take some kind of system of measures - to facilitate the adoption of citizenship, help in learning a language, in publications in the language of the "new homeland"? It seems that Vladimir Nabokov (Russian and American writer) showed himself well? But his individual situation was special. He did not need support ...
If someone had such thoughts, the emerging of the 'French Bunin' was an answer. Those, who were interested in developing a culture, breathed a sigh of relief - the cultural representatives of the former empire are integrating (albeit gradually) into the cultural environment of the 'new homeland'.
Or - another situation. Suppose official historical science begins to lag, show weakness. On the contrary, personalities show themselves, - who are developing a history. Previously, they could develop a history as they please. It was necessary for them or to go through official channels, or to remain in complete obscurity.
But now there is the Internet. These independent historians are relatively widely known. Some part of fans of history is perplexed - how so? to someone - money, and from someone - historical research? Or maybe give money to someone who gives a result?
Well, if someone had such thoughts, then they be answered. A certain graduate of some historical university is equipped with a jacket and ring (on a finger). He is training in a theater studio. And goes on a march to Rome. With historical works, everything is simple. The works previously written by other people are taken, and their conclusions are presented - but in a scandalous, sometimes offensive form. He is very progressive!
All is good. Here he is - the leader of independent historical research. He can be used.
Or, let's say, the situation with the appearance of a spontaneous dam on the Bureya River. There were citizens who were very worried about these events and wrote regularly about them. The case received increasing public attention.
Naturally, a character arose who constantly talked about his expeditions, research, etc. But, strangely enough, during the existence of the Bureyskaya problem itself and its successful solution, few (and maybe nobody?) could read anything written by this character. But the character was sent on a tour through various media - local and central - where he talked about the fact that (stage 1) it's impossible to solve this problem, (stage 2) its solution is associated with great dangers (logical line - stop solving the problem?), (3 stage - when success in solving the Bureya problem was obvious) even if the problem is solved, but it doesn't mean anything - the channel, created, anyway will become clogged with ice and fragments of trees, and new landslides are threatening from all sides. Etc. etc.). He, it turns out, is the one who EXPLAINED EVERYTHING!
So what conclusion can be drawn from all these situations?
'I formulate the concept of a quasi-double [quasi-lookalike] [quasi-twin]!'
Such quasi-doubles are needed in order to substitute, to overshadow, in order to attract (to switch) attention.
Sergei Sergeevich decided to prepare a note (a kind of report), and send it everywhere, everywhere - both to the ministry and to the Public Council.
It is necessary to develop the practice of indirect peer review, actively supplementing it with the creation of quasi-doubles!
