Senya looked closely at friends:
- "History needs to be known!"
- "My grandfather was an intendant during the Crimean War," - one friend remembered.
- "It is good that not under Stalin," - the other responded.
- "I have an idea!" - Senya stopped the discussion.
- "Come on, Senya!"
- "Some money appeared, but it would not be pedagogically to give them to kids. They would have misunderstood that in response to their complaints they might get something ... Such an act could demonstrate my weakness..."
Friends listened carefully.
- "I decided to perform an act of mercy, to act as a patron!"
There was admiration on the faces of friends.
- "We will organize production of free lunches!"
Friends firstly deepened into reflections, but then remembered that there was a catering dining room nearby. It 's not that hard. Firstly, it's necessary to talk to the director of the dining room in a convincing way, then - to move the contract to this dining room. Then, to give the dining room some percentage of the contract...
Realizing that friends had digested his idea, Senya continued:
- "But we should not forget about education, about pedagogy. To demonstrate my pedagogical potential I will give a free lecture on a domestic history!"
- "That's right, Senya!"
The lecture and the production of free lunches were quickly organized.
At the lecture Senya told the residents of the neighbourhood that in the USSR Gosplan was planning, was developing a numerous programs. The Ministry of Finance was providing means for the implementation of the programmes. The means through the banks were directing to the managers. And the Department Against Misappropriation of Socialist Property fought those involved in the theft of socialist property.
- "They worked very well!" - Senya solemnly concluded his speech.
The participants met the lecture with benevolence and welcomed the excursion into the domestic history with applause.
After the lecture, the listeners were presented with free lunches.
The lunches included: a "vienna sausages" (the unattractive, unappetizing and of the unclear origin), some porridge, the stewed cabbage of abysmal taste and a sour compote.
Nobody ate this. (Unappetizing and a little dangerous). Several people picked a porridge as the most neutral and safe dish. All was thrown off away into a garbage bins.
But no one criticized... (Now - not the USSR...)...
Senya was feeling himself not badly. The lecture was successful. The image of the philanthropist and patron has strengthened.
Meanwhile, the money completed a movement through bank accounts and through the dining room.
On the faces of friends there was pleasure. Day passed perfectly!
They said goodbye with a good mood.
