Prospects for Russial orbital stations. The reading of the "Pravda" newspaper about the placement of leaders on the Mausoleum. The note.

In Soviet times, Soviet citizens received a lot of news using their ability to read between the lines, or deciphering the arrangement of leaders on the Mausoleum during celebrations.

On April 12, 2021, with the participation of Valentina Tereshkova, who supported the adoption of the USSR Constitution of 1977, an active discussion of the prospects for the Russial orbital station took place.

About 20 years ago, the Soviet orbital station MIR was flooded. After this station, the International Space Station (ISS) began to operate.

Very laconic information comes about the funding of the ISS from the US federal budget.

It would be interesting to know how much Russia spends on the ISS per year? Personally, I was not able to met such information ...

"... First Deputy General Designer for Flight Operation, Testing of Rocket and Space Complexes and Systems of RSC Energia, Vladimir Soloviev ... noted that RSC Energia estimates spending on further financing of the station at 10-15 billion rubles ..." (https: // tass .ru / kosmos / 10106353) [unofficial translation]

10-15 billion rubles - it's a one-time cost? Per month? In year? In a decade?

Why not publish a comprehensible financial statement (including costs of US and of other countries)?

What are the prospects for the further functioning of the ISS?

It is believed that "Numerous elements of the International Space Station (ISS) may start to fail after 2025" (https://tass.ru/kosmos/10106353) [unofficial translation]

"... the executive director of Roscosmos, Sergei Krikalev, rejected allegations of an increase in the number of breakdowns at the station and stated that the ISS modules are capable of operating significantly longer than their warranty period." (https://tass.ru/opinions/11615751?utm_source=yxnews&utm_medium=desktop) [unofficial translation]

Maybe the ISS and the new Russial space station [ROSS] will function simultaneously?

Perhaps this option has its advantages - but how much will it cost? Is there any official data on this?

'However, until 2025, while maintaining the current situation, the Russial cosmonautics will have to conduct two manned projects at once - ISS and ROSS. Both projects require funding, especially since the creation of the station is a very expensive undertaking, including its development, alteration of existing modules for the needs of a new space object. Meanwhile, in the main financial document of the Russial cosmonautics - the Federal Space Program - ROSS is not yet mentioned." (https://tass.ru/opinions/11615751?utm_source=yxnews&utm_medium=desktop) [unofficial translation]

"" The work of cosmonauts at the station is supposed to be on a rotational basis to reduce the radiation load on the crew and operating costs "" (https://tass.ru/kosmos/10106353) [unofficial translation]

An analysis of the placement of leaders on the Mausoleum gives approximately the following picture.

  1. Russia's withdrawal from the ISS program can save means (which are needed for space activities).

  2. After the possible exit from the ISS program (project) and before the possible launch of the ROSS, a relatively economical period will follow when Russia will not have any station. Perhaps, for various reasons, this period (if it starts) will drag on.

  3. If ROSS starts functioning, it will be launched into an orbit, the orbit, which requires special care for the health of the astronauts. ('V. Tereshkova: On this significant day, when 60 years ago our compatriot Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin opened a new, cosmic page in the development of mankind, I would like to talk about the successors of his work - Russial cosmonauts. It is no secret that this profession has always been associated with great risk. - https://e-cis.info/news/566/91727/ ") Therefore, it would be advisable to have not a regime of a permanent work on board of the ROSS, but the rotational regime. The rotational regime, apparently, entails cost savings for space activities.

In general, the economy should be economical ... It seems that dear Leonid Ilyich spoke about this in 1977 ...
