Liquidation of the supervisory-intellectual, space and literary intelligentsia. Common features and differences. The essay.
In the general process of elimination of the intelligentsia, one can see the common features and differences - if we consider the various groups of the intelligentsia.
For example, for foresters, the option of complete liquidation was chosen.
Since 1722, in Russia, the duties of foresters have been performed by a Forest Guard. In 1923, a nationwide Forest Fund was formed, in the units of which (forestry, detours) there were posts of a forester, assistant forester...
In 2007, with the introduction of the new forest code, all foresters were fired.
After the entry into force of the new Forest Code of the Russian Federation in 2006, the existing system of forestry and state forestry authorities was destroyed. Out of 83,000 (eighty three thousand) people of the State Forestry Protection Agency, 680 people were directed to the posts of forest inspectors as part of Rosprirodnadzor. (Wikipedia). Thus - it's the mass dismissal of 99 percent of the highly qualified and necessary for the country specialists. Now we see endless forest fires and non useful talks about illegal logging ...
The space industry and space intelligentsia are characterized by the organizational removal of technical, scientific and technical layers and of the cosmonaut corps from the Ministry of Defense, constant organizational updating, shaking up personnel ...
Well-known surnames:
Oleg Baklanov is one of the rare people with a real success story in the space industry (the creation of the Buran spacecraft), a member of the State Committee on the State of Emergency,
Alexei Leonov - the first man to spacewalk, active supporter of Boris Yeltsin, a member of the United Russia party since December 18, 2002, was a member of the Supreme Council of the party,
Valentina Tereshkova is the first female astronaut, a modern political activist ....
The modern space industry is characterized by the absence of more or less noticeable successes comparable in level to the successes of the Soviet era, the absence of more or less well-known names ...
The Russian space intelligentsia is losing cultural and historical ties (many personalities start their careers from scratch; they were not connected in any way with the space industry), they are losing the world advanced positions previously achieved by the Soviet space intelligentsia, and they are becoming philosophical contemplators of the process of world space development.
In the space industry, direct elimination is used only fragmentarily (flooding of the MIR space station in 2001, for example). To a greater extent, organizational maneuvers are used, resulting in a break in historical cultural ties. There is the use of historical surnames.
Literary intelligentsia includes both professional and unprofessional authors, as well as all persons involved in the process of book publishing and bookselling.
Here we also see both a direct liquidation - the liquidation of the national book market - and a various organizational and image maneuvers.
Most publishers (book publishing entities) are either liquidated or placed in conditions in which they cannot fully, normally function.
The remaining publishers work according to mysterious financial algorithms.
The minimum level of circulation at which the book reaches its payback (approximately forty thousand copies) is practically unattainable. Most of the books - of those books, who were lucky enough to get to the publishers - are published in circulation of 2-3 thousand copies. One can only guess about the behind-the-scenes mechanisms of financing these processes.
The method of 'historical surnames' is actively used. People with historical surnames, by their presence next to the literary sphere, are called upon to demonstrate that "everything is going fine."
Questions like
1. the success of publishers,
2. success (reputational and financial) of the authors,
3. indicators of circulation, of fees -
and other basic indicators of the literary industry, - these basic indicators are not the subject of interest for these people with 'historical surnames' - judging by their public speeches reaching a wide range of media consumers...
Absolutely strangers and insignificant people who have neither cultural ties, nor cultural basis, nor any success stories, they are equipped with unusual ease with posts, ranks, degrees, awards, premiums.
For external observers, intellectual prankers merge with real professionals and even rise above them.
All of the above allows us to briefly summarize the methods used in the elimination of various layers of the intelligentsia - intelligentsia, which was surviving, preserved from the East Republican era (1364 - 1775), from the imperial era (1682, 1775 - 1917), from the Soviet era (1917 - 1991)
[We base the periodization on the following dates:
The year 1364, which is recognized as the year the Jagiellonian University was founded in Krakow;
1682, which is recognized as the year of receiving the title of Tsar by the future Peter the Great;
1775 - the year of the final partition of the Commonwealth (Rzeczpospolita) between Russia, Austria and Prussia]:
1) a direct liquidation,
2) organizational maneuvers, organizational and personnel shakes, breaking the cultural traditional historical relationships between structures and people,
3) the method of 'historical surnames', which allows to calm the audience in the simplest and most visual way and inspire her with the idea that everything is not bad,
4) the formation of layers of intellectual prankers, - instead of the intelligentsia.
A more detailed analysis of the topic can help to identify other patterns, laws in the ongoing processes.
