English language courses. A story for children about Seryozha.
Videos about a school student (he is from a neighboring city, he is a fan of postage stamps) periodically appeared on the video hosting.
This school student attends English language courses. Course visitors inspect postage stamps, read the inscriptions on the stamps.
Course visitors, including this school student, write letters in English and send them.
The school student from a neighboring town receives letters, peels stamps off envelopes and puts stamps in an album.
A little audacious was the video in which this school student, a language course visitor, peels off a postage stamp, dials the phone number of a foreign correspondence partner, and thanks this correspondent in English.
At school break, Seryozha asked the students:
- Which of your parents has not yet passed off their foreign passports?
Some boy answered:
- My parents haven't yet passed off, they headed to the East on a tourist trip.
- Tell them to send a tea bag urgently, and let they put (stick) a foreign postage stamp on the parcel.
Soon a parcel with tea arrived. The stamp featured a beautiful Faberge egg.
Everything was filmed on a smartphone: how the parcel is inspected, how the tea is taken out, how the postage stamp is peeled off, how it fits into the album.
In the school cafeteria, Seryozha asked the school students for a moment of attention.
Holding in his hand an enlarged image of a postage stamp with the image of a Faberge egg, Seryozha explained what inscriptions are on the stamp. He said that at least 52 imperial Faberge eggs were created (during the reigns of Emperor Alexander III and Emperor Nicholas II). The 52nd egg remained unfinished. Its production took place in 1917. Apparently, the revolution prevented to complete the creating of this egg.
The students listened to Seryozha with interest:
- And what kind of egg is this?
- This is one of the eggs that turned out to be in Oriental private collections.
The students looked with interest at the enlarged image of the postage stamp.
Seryozha broke the pause:
- In honor of the placement of this rare postage stamp into the collection, a chocolate eggs were purchased for students of our school. A loan has been taken out to purchase them. But the interest rate on this loan is 0.25 percent less than the average rate on similar loans.
The students nodded their heads respectfully.
Employees of the school cafeteria brought chocolate eggs and handed an egg to each student.
Everything was filmed on a smartphone.
After watching a video dedicated to a foreign postage stamp and Faberge eggs (video was posted on a video hosting service), Seryozha nodded his head in approval. A schoolboy from a neighboring city, a stamp lover, a visitor to English language courses, - now he clearly cannot be able to compete.
