Consultation near the courthouse. A story.
Yesterday, on the radio, I heard an interview with participation of woman who was introduced to radio listeners as "Yana Poplavskaya".
After this interview, I got the impression that there are people, in our country, who, figuratively speaking, "fell from the sky." I felt a desire, at first, to write about my impressions of this interview, but I do not consider it advisable to start a discussion with women in general, and especially with women of a certain mental (intellectual) level, - not directly nor in absentia.
Today I read an information about a certain Major General.
And I remembered how many years ago I turned on the TV in winter. It was late in the evening. There was a picture on the screen: a line of tanks firing a salvo, according the colonel's command. And the colonel said loudly: "Merry Christmas!!!".
Then everything got mixed up in my memory, because long ago those events happened.
What followed what? In what order?
a) There was information about the beginning of an investigation on the topic of the alleged sniper (girl), detained by the colonel.
b) TV again: the same colonel is in the dock, he looks directly into the TV camera lens - as if at me. I am unbearably ashamed.
c) Some people painted (wrote) a new name for one of the streets, they "renamed" it in honor of the colonel.
I remember: I am standing with two women-employees of the legal entity I represent near the Pervomaisky district Court of Rostov-on-Don.
There were other visitors around. Suddenly there was a rustle in the air: "the case of colonel."
At first, a very confident representative of the victim appeared.
Somehow it turned out that we felt our "obligation" to step aside to let him pass. I slightly held my companions by the elbows, we did not move aside, and he had to go around us. Someone, may be, have noticed this "incident".
Then the colonel's representative (or representatives) appeared.
I told my companions as loudly as possible: "it's necessary to apply for the appointment of examinations (forensic examinations)!"
It seems that examinations were appointed, but they did not bring much benefit. What are chicken bones for wolf jaws?
But the examinations slowed down the proceedings somewhat and allowed to focus on the details of the events that took place.
I couldn't do anything else for the colonel.
Then there was a story about the moral and material support for the colonel from highly respected people. But, nevertheless, after 10 years spent in places not so remote, despite all the respected people, the colonel was killed with one or more shots by a man with a genuine, officially issued, passport, but with someone else's surname in this passport.
Now the Major General. I don't feel much shame. I have no illusions, because I am not "Yana Poplavskaya".
Yes, I forgot to add several details, at first. I wrote above that someone (may be) noticed this "incident". So, at that time I lived on Voroshilovsky Avenue, almost opposite the Kirov district police department. And after the "incident" I noticed something like a specific "patrol", consisted of two huge giants. But they did not feel comfortable themselves next to the police department, and they soon disappeared.
These are such memories of "distant" events. I think that I was not mistaken in the fundamental details, although memory can distort something due to the remoteness of events.
I don't have a TV now, and I don't watch TV at all.
