When summer breeze makes my wings unfold,
It's so lovely to be alone,
That I feel like breaking the line you hold
And sailing to lands unknown;
So every time, as you pull me down
To send me again in space,
You can feel some tension and see a frown
Cut the diamond of my face.
But, should I break free and just fly ahead,
I'd never go anywhere,
For only that downward pull of the thread
Can make me stay in the air.
