A lamb is so cute,
Enjoying the sunlight.
Is smiles (or seems to)
As the summer unfolds.
Its nature is pure and delightful, 
Tragic in a way.
A lamb's presence is vital
On this summer day. 
Before it's slaughtered
It looks so easy to scare away.
