Summer is time to dream
About everything
That we keep under skin,
That we have never seen.
Too bad it's gone tonight,
The land soon will be white,
And nature soon will die,
But sun still shines so bright.
The summer was so real,
So real like every fear.
But autumn's like a pill
Against the pain we feel.
Today rain starts to pour,
Weather's no more good.
We think about June,
July and August too.
In June we had much fun;
We missed the July's run;
And August had begun...
But now the August's gone.
Tomorrow comes so fast;
We say goodbye to past,
Green leaves turn into dust:
They left their lives for us.
